Jyoti is the Executive Director of the ACCA, the leading industry body representing stakeholders across the cloud ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region. She works closely with governments, regulators, and industry leaders to shape safe, consistent, and forward-looking regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies.

As part of its broader policy efforts, ACCA released the AI Governance Handbook—a practical guide for policymakers outlining the AI lifecycle and clarifying the responsibilities of key stakeholders. The handbook introduces a shared responsibility framework informed by cloud industry best practices and contributes to the development of adaptable, forward-looking AI governance. This work complements Jyoti’s leadership in driving ACCA’s regional initiatives, including coordinating industry responses to draft legislation on AI and cloud technologies to support pragmatic, future-ready regulation.

In addition, Jyoti brings over a decade of experience in public policy and stakeholder engagement, advising multinational companies and philanthropic organizations on data governance, platform regulation, and digital health. She has also led cross-sector partnerships, including a collaboration between a Thai regulatory authority and the private sector to promote a more competitive ecosystem.

Jyoti was awarded the Australian Government’s Prime Minister’s Endeavour Executive Award and led a project in Indonesia on the economic value of skilled migration.
