ACCA and KACI sign MoU for collaboration and dialogue
16 September 2014, Seoul, South Korea, - The Asia Cloud Computing and Association (ACCA) and the Korean Association of Cloud Industry (KACI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote collaboration and dialogue between the two Associations. This MoU includes the sharing of information, expertise, and promotion of each other’s interests. There will be focus on participating in each respective Associations’ events, raising awareness about cloud computing in Korea and the region, as well as sharing information on relevant research.
The partnership will open up opportunities for member companies of both organisations to dialogue, share experiences of best practices from around Asia Pacific, and explore business partnerships together.
ACCA Chairman Bernie Trudel and KACI President Song, Hee Kyoung signed the MoU on 16 September 2014, in Seoul, Korea. The MoU signing ceremony took place during a breakfast panel co-organised by the two Associations featuring presentations on cloud computing policy and adoption in Korea.
"We are very happy to find a partner like KACI. Korea is an important market for cloud and ACCA wishes to contribute to the acceleration of cloud adoption in Korea,” said Bernie Trudel, Chairman of the ACCA. "This partnership is an important first step."
"We look forward to exchanging information with our Korean partners through this partnership," said Lim May-Ann, Executive Director of the ACCA. "There are many avenues for collaboration which both our associations can benefit from."
