ACCA Holds Q3 Meetings in Kuala Lumpur
ACCA members gathered for the Q3 meetings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 17-18 September 2015. The board and members meeting was held at CSC Malaysia, in addition to kindly hosting the industry dialogue roundtable event on 'Healthcare and Cloud Computing in Malaysia'. The first ever healthcare discussion was well recevied thanks to the speakers and participants who provided unique perspectives on how Malaysia may advance and integrate the cloud computing system into the healthcare industry.
The second roundtable event was hosted by Microsoft in Persiaran KLCC the following day. The 'Cloud and Financial Services in Malaysia' panel included, Ms Cathryn Chay from Zul Rafique & Partners and Mr Daniel Angelucci from CSC. The discussion was moderated by Mr Andrew Cooke from Microsoft and Mr Stacy Baird of the Data Governance Working Group in ACCA.
Every quarter, the ACCA organises a member visit to a different Asia Pacific city, where we explore different facets of the technology and cloud market. Our objective is to accelerate the adoption of cloud across the region, including different sectors, such as financial services, healthcare, small and medium enterprises etc.
