You may download the Chairman's Statement here:

With a young and mobile-savvy generation on the cusp of entering the formal workforce, Indonesia's 250 million citizens look set to drive the world's 4th most populous nation into an era of dynamic economic growth. There are known constraints to working in the Indonesian market. Infrastructural issues continue to be a challenge to businesses. And government regulations are difficult to navigate and confusing, such as those around data protection, electronic transactions, e-commerce laws, and enforced data residency.

Yet these constraints have not stopped Indonesia – already we see exciting innovations arising from the use of open data, crowdsourcing information, and mobile devices, such as real-time traffic and flood reporting. Cloud computing can enhance, empower and amplify this growth by allowing businesses to “right-size” easily, scaling up and down according to demand.

What are some of the constraints that cloud companies face in Indonesia today, and how can they be better improved upon? What are the opportunities for cloud in some of Indonesia’s key creative industries? The ACCA’s Industry Dialogue will feature key eminent discussants who will share with us their perspectives on doing business in various industries within Indonesia.
